At READY, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. That’s why we have a bold goal to provide 10,000 Rochester students with access to quality schools in just 10 years. It’s ambitious, it’s necessary, and it’s possible with your help.
That’s more than a statistic; it’s an urgent call to action.
But there are ways you can help us address this.
Join our growing collective of parents, educators, community leaders, and philanthropists dedicated to transforming Rochester into a place where every student has access to a great K-12 public education.
The READY School Finder provides accessible, easy-to-understand information to help families choose schools that meet their children’s needs and data to inform school quality in Rochester.

Parent ACTION Academy builds parents’ and caregivers’ of color capacities and abilities to advocate for the educational change needed for their children to access and attend quality K-12 schools.
Your donation will directly support innovative programs that foster learning and leadership, ensuring every child in the community has access to the tools they need to succeed.
Together, we can create lasting change and build a brighter future for our schools. Make a difference today and invest in the next generation!
Lace up your bowling shoes for READY’s annual fundraiser, Bowling 4 STARS!
This spring, we have a goal of raising $50,000 to support two key initiatives: the READY STARS Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support to graduating high school seniors who plan to become teachers, and the READY Teaching Academy (RTA), a year-round, hands-on program that prepares high school students for careers in education through mentorship, training, and real-world experience. These programs are helping students discover their potential, gain real-world experience, and step confidently into roles that shape the future of our schools.
We invite you to become a sponsor and bring your own team or sponsor a student bowling team for this exciting event!
