ACTION (Activating Community To Innovate and Organize Now) is a transformational leadership program for parents and caregivers of children attending schools in Rochester.

ACTION participants delve into the rich history of public schools in Rochester, gain insights into student achievement trends, build advocacy skills, and pursue community-driven solutions to public education challenges. ACTION participants graduate with the confidence and knowledge to step into their role as advocates and change agents.

The ultimate goal of the Parent ACTION Academy is to build and amplify community power to drive systemic change in Rochester’s K-12 schools. With each cohort, a growing collective of change agents will be informed and activated to hold elected leaders accountable for solutions they want in Rochester’s education system.
